Birthplace of the ”Bollenhut”
It’s a tradition of which we are proud. This is the true home of the Bollenhut. In the past, the "Bollen” (balls) were just painted on straw hats. Later on, they were skilfully handcrafted with wool. But there’s always something going on, whatever the time of year. Things get off to an early start with the colourful spectacle 'Fasnet' (carnival). The people of Kinzigtal know how to celebrate but do not of course forget to invite their guests along. - So as not to end up like the "Hornberger Schießen”!
