“Villa Haiss” museum for contemporary art. The museum was opened in 1997 after two years of making alterations to the historic building. The museum houses important exhibits by contemporary artists. This includes originals by Baselitz, Beuys, Haring, Kawanmata, Ruff, Schumacher, Sonderborg, Warhol, to name just a few. A special exhibition can be found on the ground floor, which changes every three months, e.g. Sonderborg, Luescher, Penck, Stoehrer, Miotte, Quinte, ZHOU-BROTHERS, Arman, Muck, Hebenstreit, Berner, Koshlyakov, Wintersberger, Nadler, Sturm, Goerss, Fischer.
