Motive: Molerhiisli in Hausach
“Molerhiisli” in Hausach
The “Molerhiisli” was where Hausach’s painter and poet Eugen Falk-Breitenbach (1903-1979) lived and worked. He is not only famous as a local poet using the local dialect but also for his drawings and paintings. His works of art were in keeping with the tradition of the colony in Gutach where the artists lived and show mainly motifs from the central Black Forest. The visitor gets to see a typical house where an artist lived, the rooms of which are full of his work as well as local costumes and historical items.
From the beginning of May until the end of September
Sunday 2.00 - 5.00 p.m.
