“Mooswald” Mill near Lauterbach
Everything you need to set a grain-mill in motion can be seen in the “Mooswald” mill in Sulzbach near Lauterbach. That’s what the documents pertaining to the mill from 1657 stipulate. The mill is also quite unique in that it is situated high up in the Black Forest. It is not only the mill but also the beautiful surroundings that make a visit well worth your while. The area around the Sulzbach valley is part of a nature reserve. Some of the people who live here swear that they have seen the ghost of the mill in the clearing nearby.
