Hansgrohe Aquademie in Schiltach
A lot of thought was put into the presentation of the “expo” right next to the museum - bathrooms in all shapes and sizes and using different colour schemes. All there to give you an idea of what you could do with your own bathroom – and maybe you will want to do something about it once you’ve been here! Everything on show here not only reflects the history of the company which dates back 100 years but also a certain passion for water as an element.
The Museum:
Take a trip down memory lane and a look into the future. See exactly what has happened to bathrooms over the past 100 years. You will not only see the old-fashioned bathtubs, the magnificent copper baths and the psychedelic bathrooms of the 1970’s.
Hans Grohe doesn’t only show the glamourous side of bathroom furniture. Up until the 20th century most people only had a bath once a week in a tin bathtub in the kitchen. Or just remember the typical monotonous style of the 1950’s-70’s. The journey ends in the “expo” showing modern-day bathrooms.
