Motive: Museum am Markt in Schiltach
Museum in the Market Square
This museum gives you an idea of the history of the small town of Schiltach that was first mentioned over 700 years ago. It starts with the history of the castle that has been rebuilt using a model, covers the town fires during the 16th century and finishes up with the industrialisation in the 19th century. You can even listen to the local Swabian dialect when hearing a report on the fire of 1533, which also lead to a woman, who was thought to have been a witch, being burned at the stake.
