Theme Park in Schramberg
The park around the country house of the factory owner Erhard Junghans in Schramberg, whose father founded the clock factory Junghans in 1861, has been turned into a theme park. The main aim of the park is to combine certain themes in the style of an English garden.
The park offers attractions for families as well as the chance to relax and experience various open-air events. There is an attractive playground with water features, a pond with play areas and places to relax, fountains and streams, as well as magnolia, rhododendron and rose gardens. The park also offers practical works of art from a number of famous German artists – artistic park benches. The stone bench “four points of the compass” by Georg Hueter, the “sun lounger” which can be turned to face the sun or the “memorial bench” made using stainless steel. The rose garden has the most precise sundial in the world and will always tell you the right time.
