Slag Heap “Grube Clara” in Wolfach
The slag heap of the mine is not only for adults but also for families. A special part of the area around the old mine has been partitioned off and here you can chisel away at the rocks and stones. The “Grube Clara” is one of two mines in the world with the largest amount of minerals. Collectors have already found over 400 minerals here. New material from the mine is added to the area every now and then. “Gold panning” is also on offer for children.
